Blog Directories – approximately like yellow pages but each entrance was a link back to a website

Forum Signatures – Many people where observing on forums for the sole purpose of receiving a link back to their website (they comprised the links in their signature)

Comment link – The same conception as forum signs where you comment on some other website or blog in direction to get a link back. Even worse, instead of spending your real name you might use keywords so instead of text ‘remark by Alex Chris’, 

Article Directories – By publication your articles on an article directory you could get a link (or 2) back to your website. Some article directories recognized only unique content while other directories recognized anything from spin articles to already published articles.

Shared Content Directories – Websites like hub pages and info barrel allowed you to distribute content and in return you could add a couple of links directing to your websites.

Link exchange schemes – Instead of exasperating to publish content you might get in touch with other webmasters and conversation links. In new words I could link your website from mine and you might do the same. In some cases you could even do more complex exchanges by doing a 3-way link, in other words I link to your website from my website but you link to my website from a changed website Off Page Seo (SEO Services ).
